In 1993 Sergey Pchelintsev graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) with a Master degree in Aerospace Engineering. In 1999 he received a Master degree in Economics from Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
Mr Pchelintsev’s professional career started in May 1996 with ING Bank in Moscow. On leaving the bank in 2004, he reached the post of Deputy Head of Financial Markets Division. Same year he was offered the position of Director and Head of Treasury in Raiffeisen Bank in Moscow. In 2007 he moved to Standard Bank as the Managing Director of Global Markets Division and a Member of the Management Board. From 2008 to 2010 he held the post of Member of the Management Board and Director of Treasury and Financial Markets Group in Banca Intesa (formerly KMB Bank). In January 2011 he was appointed Head of Treasury in Russian Commercial Bank (Cyprus).
In September 2013 Sergey Pchelintsev joined East-West United Bank as Head of Global Markets.
In September 2015 he was appointed CEO / Managing Director of East-West United Bank.
Since December 2013 Martin Pcola is Authorised Manager and Chief Financial Officer at East-West United Bank. He is in charge of supervising Financial, Risk, Compliance, Operational, IT and administration functions of the Bank.
Martin Pcola’s professional experience has been earned through several senior financial and audit roles at top tier companies located in different European countries. From 2012 to December 2013 he occupied a senior financial role at EU headquarters of Amazon in Luxembourg, preceded by Senior Manager position, focused mainly on banking, re/insurance and securitization sectors, and in Audit assurance services of Deloitte S.A. in Luxembourg. Prior to this, during the period from 2002 to 2008, he held several audit and accounting positions at top advisory companies, such as Deloitte Czech Republic, Ernst and Young Slovakia and Accenture Czech Republic.
In 2002 Mr. Pcola graduated from Economic University of Bratislava with Master’s degree in International Business and is also FCCA fellow member and chartered qualified accountant in Association of chartered certified accountants in London.
Yury Plechko graduated in 1994 with honors from State Financial Academy (formerly Moscow Financial Institute) with a degree in International Economic Relations.
Yury Plechko started his professional career in 1992 trading FX for leading Russian banks. In 1997 he joined Morgan Grenfell Securities (Deutsche Bank Group) in the role of Deputy Head of Fixed Income. His subsequent career steps include six years of hands-on experience in Fixed Income Sales/Structuring in ING Bank Eurasia.
From March 2005, Yury Plechko held various positions at UniCredit Aton (formerly Aton Capital), including Head of Structured Products and Derivatives, Head of DMA/electronic brokerage, Deputy CEO responsible for Business and Product Development and, ultimately, CEO, UniCredit Securities from June 2012.
Yury Plechko joined East-West United Bank in June 2014. Currently, he serves as Head of Operations and Business Development.
In 1994 Andrey Zaytsev graduated with honours from Lomonosov Moscow State University with specialization in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. In 2001 Mr Zaytsev obtained an MBA from INSEAD in France (Fontainebleau).
Andrey Zaytsev started his carrier in finance in 1994 as a trader at Post Bank in Moscow. One year later he was promoted to the position of Head of Treasury at the same bank. In 1996 Mr Zaytsev accepted the position of а Fixed Income Trader at ING Barings in Moscow. Upon his graduation from INSEAD in March 2002 he moved to Austria to work for Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich. Two years later Andrey Zaytsev returned to Moscow and took the responsibilities of Chief Investment Officer at Raiffeisen Capital AMC, where within a year he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. In August 2009 he became a Managing Director and a Partner of Walser Privatbank Wealth Management GmbH in Vienna. In 2014 Mr Zaytsev joined LGT Bank in Vienna in the capacity of Managing Director of the International Clients division.
Today Andrey Zaytsev is Head of Private Banking at East-West United Bank, where he was appointed in January 2015.
Dr Cecilia Gejke is Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of East-West United Bank (EWUB), a Luxembourg-based boutique specialising in private and corporate banking. Cecilia Gejke has a background in Material Physics and renewable energy sources prior to joining the world of Finance. Cecilia has held various leadership roles within Risk Management and capital & liquidity management at financial institutions both in London and Europe, gaining a broad experience in investment and retail banking cultures. Cecilia has a proven track record of designing and delivering efficient risk management frameworks to drive business performance and is also an experienced speaker and panelist at industry forums, and a council member of the Anglo-Swedish Society.
Harry Harbers holds a BSc. in Animal Science and BSc. in Business Administration from Nijenrode Business University (NL). He also holds an MBA with distinction from Thunderbird, American Graduate School of International Management and completed the Dutch CFA program registered by EFFAS.
Harry started his career in the banking industry with ING Bank in 1991. During a period of 16 years he worked in ING’s offices in Amsterdam, London, Prague and Moscow; initially being responsible for fixed income and currency trading in Russia and Ukraine and progressing to the Head of Financial Markets for ING Eurasia.
After leaving ING in 2007, Harry worked as Head of Structuring, Treasury and Fixed Income trading in Troika Dialog, as Head of Global Financial Markets and C&EE Client Solutions of Rabobank Moscow and as CEO of FactorRus LLC. In 2015 he joined Sberbank CIB in Moscow as Co-Head of Global Markets Business Management & Development where he was responsible for capital optimization, new products, strategy and its international franchise as well as trading entities in Cyprus, UK and US.
In 2017 he moved back to London to join ING Bank as MD Credit Portfolio Group responsible for ING’s capital optimization.
Mr. Harbers joined East-West United Bank as Head of Global Markets in October 2019.
