Current situation
We don’t have the luxury to assume that the peak of the tension has passed and we can relax. We’ve only passed the peak of the tension from the shock.
Our partners also understand this and are trying to find opportunities to work in this current situation. They also understand that cooperation must continue and that they need to have presence in Russia.
New projects
We are working with Indian, Chinese and Arab partners at the same time for dozens of different projects. The scope of what has been initiated is huge. What will grow out of it, we will see. We will observe the results next year and in 2017 with a hope that something will come out of this.
Financing
The most serious challenge we face is, most likely, finding possibilities for financing.
Import substitution
It is impossible to substitute import 100%. The country is too deeply integrated into the world economy. Russia is capable to transfer to domestic market for a variety of products and we are not just talking about food, there are also industrial products. For other products there is no need for transfer as the division of labour in the global economy has already existed for a long time.
Chip manufactured in Russia
The country of our size has the right to have its own national payment system. Company "Micron" has already produced a Russian chip that passed all kinds of certifications, including the certification of Master Card and Visa laboratories.
Agricultural sector
Today, the global food market is as high-tech as the microelectronics or defense solutions markets. We are working in the agricultural sector and we are constantly expanding our portfolio to become a significant player on this market.
Characterisation of current times
We are condemned to live, relying only on our own strength. Today, it is clear that only the strongest ones will survive. Weak ones will leave or become a part of the more powerful group. And this is the most global characteristic of the times in which we live in.
