LUXEMBOURG 25TH IN GLOBAL LIVEABILITY RANKING
Luxembourg has been placed 25th out of 140 countries around the globe, and 11th in Europe, in a liveability ranking carried out by the Economist Intelligence Unit.
The ranking assesses 30 factors in five categories – stability (25 percent of total), healthcare (20 percent), culture and environment (25 percent), education (10 percent) and infrastructure (20 percent) – with a maximum score of 100 points attainable.
Among the European cities in the ranking, Luxembourg City placed 11th, and among EU cities, the capital even ranked 7th.
